Look out from lookouts inside the grid. Find the heights every lookout agrees with.
Made by the same generator as the app: one answer, reachable by logic alone. Hints come in three steps.
What makes it fun
Count the view from a lookout
The number of towers an arrow can see is the clue inside the grid.
The view size varies by row
Each row and column has its own maximum height.
See past clues through the grid
An arrow's line of sight passes through clue cells and reaches the buildings beyond.
Rules
- Place buildings of height 1 to k in the empty cells. k is the number of building cells in that row or column.
- Each row and column holds 1 to k exactly once.
- An arrow is how many buildings are visible in its direction. A building is visible only if it is taller than every building in front of it.
SOLVED WHENSolved when every empty cell holds a building of the right height.
Your first move
Look for a row or column with few building cells. The smaller k is, the sooner the heights are decided.
When you get stuck
Hints come in three steps: where to look, why it works, then the answer. The first step only shows the place, so you can still find the rest yourself.
Controls
